Thanks for the comment on my owl goodies-- the hat pattern is at http://www.knitculture.com/our-blog/wise-old-owl-hats/. I mashed together the owl cable with a baby cardi pattern for the sweater. I actually used the free pattern from Knitting Pure and Simple (http://knittingpureandsimple.com/products-page/free-patterns/easy-baby-cardigan/), which is written for top-down, but I adjusted it for bottom-up to accommodate the bottom-up owl cables.
